Flexible loan plans

Bangkok Bank offers home loan plans that can be tailored to meet your needs. The loan can be denominated in US or Singapore dollars and you can borrow up to 70% of the property appraisal value, subject to a maximum loan quantum of one million Singapore dollars or the equivalent amount. Loan repayment can be made over a maximum repayment period of 10 years.

Foreigners who wish to purchase a residential property in Thailand

Documents Needed To facilitate the processing of your application, please forward the following documents to us:
    1. Completed Mortgage Loan Application Form
    2. Copy of identification card (front and back)/ passport
    3. Signed copy of Sales & Purchase Agreement
    4. Employer's letter addressed to Bangkok Bank Public Co Ltd (Singapore) confirming position, years of service and remuneration
    5. Bank's Reference letter addressed to Bangkok Bank Public Co Ltd (Singapore) confirming banking relationship, conduct/ type of account and size of loan/ deposit with the bank.
    6. Bank statements over the past 6 months
    7. Income Tax Return from the last 2 years.
    8. Balance sheets and profit and loss statements from the last 2 years (for self-employed borrower)
    9. Credit Bureau Report from country of residence

Fees & other expenses

A processing fee of S$5,000 or an equivalent amount is payable upon acceptance of our letter of loan offer and S$2,000 or an equivalent amount shall be refunded upon draw down of the loan. All expenses such as legal and mortgage costs, valuation fee and fire insurance premium etc. shall be payable by the borrower.
